The BioDryer™ is a compact,
forced air dryer.
It quickly
removes water or other volatile solvents from centrifugal pellets or other small
biological samples. Temperatures between ambient and 70ºC are precisely controlled with
heated air constantly being circulated by an internal fan. The drying process is much
faster than conventional ovens because water- or solvent-ladened air inside
the dryer is continuously vented out the top cover of the dryer. Excluding
the heater/fan base, the
double walled chamber is 13 inch (31 cm) in diameter and 8 inch (18 cm) high. Two shelves are supplied to
support racks of tubes, glass slides, capillaries or micro-plates.
