Tissue-Tearor
The Tissue-Tearor is a rotor/stator type tissue homogenizer which can rapidly homogenize, disrupt, and emulsify samples in 0.2 - 1000 ml of liquid. Complete homogenization of tissues (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) is usually achieved in ten to thirty seconds. Little, if any, heat is produced during the process. If you need 230 volt unit, please select the models that end in EUR. Four different probe sizes are avaliable - the 04, 07, XL, and 14. BeadBeater
The BeadBeater comes complete with a 350 ml polycarbonate chamber, rotor assembly, motor base, ice-water cooling jacket (not shown) and one pound of glass beads of your choice. Indicate your glass bead choice by adding -101, -105 or -110 (0.1, 0.5, or 1.0 mm) to the end of the catalog number (example: 1107900-105). See our Bead Page for guidance in bead selection. The Mini-BeadBeater-1 is a high-energy cell disupter designed for one sample at a time. It features four speeds and a digital timer. It is convenient for up to about 20 vial samples per day.
