These chambers have working volumes (i.e., cells plus buffer) of 15 or 50 ml. The chambers are made of polycarbonate and polypropylene plastic and can be autoclaved, if desired.
The small chambers fit inside the standard 350 ml BeadBeater polycarbonate chamber. The latter may be filled with crushed ice and water and to help keep the sample cool.
