Product Description
Forty-eight position, black anodized, solid aluminum, vial rack for 1.5 or 2.0ml microvials. This solid metal rack with standard microplate sized footprint can be pre-chilled in a refrigerator or freezer. Recommended for native protein or organelle isolation where cooling is desirable during cell disruption. In general, cooling is not needed for nucleic acid isolation. In another application, "dry" grinding of fresh tissue by the cryopulverization technique is possible with the sample and 702ALU vial holder chilled to liquid nitrogen temperature.
